Job description
We're looking for a Digital Energy Solutions Consultant to help bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world solar installations. In this role, you'll work with homeowners, installers, and business clients to implement digital tools that enhance system performance, reliability, and savings. You'll guide users through digital onboarding journeys — from activation to optimization — and ensure that technology becomes a valuable, easy-to-use part of everyday energy management.
Key responsibilities:
Implement energy monitoring platforms, smart home integrations, and mobile-based applications
Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing support for customers and technicians using digital tools
Analyze production, consumption, and battery data to generate actionable insights
Customize digital solutions based on system size, property type, and regional climate
Work with internal product and engineering teams to improve platform usability
Translate complex data into customer-friendly reports, visuals, and recommendations
Monitor adoption rates and identify barriers to digital engagement among customers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in digital energy platforms, tech consulting, or data management
Strong understanding of solar systems and how they intersect with technology
Experience with IoT tools, smart home platforms, or energy monitoring software
Excellent communication and training skills for diverse, non-technical audiences
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and explain energy data clearly
Ability to work across teams and travel for on-site client engagement when needed
